Golden Gate Adventure

This is how Chris smiles at me.

I think I was Instagramming.

Sergio looks like this all the time...

Let me start off by saying that I am no longer home in SoCal but now back in San Jose.
My friend Chris, drove from Northern California, over 200 miles down to where I live in Los Angeles.
He didn't want me to miss out on a surf competition.
Funny story actually but more on that later. We hung out, he stayed over and then we left the next morning, singing to a bunch of crappy radio stations all the way back to San Ho.

So the day of the surf competition, Sergio, Chris & I ventured more up North to go watch a "big wave surf contest", however it turned out to be a total rip off. They didn't even let you go on the beach to watch them actually surf! So DUMB.

Instead, we ditched that place and walked on the Golden Gate Bridge. Been to San Francisco many a times, but never walked along one of California's most historic pieces of architecture. So this was a fun new experience.

My Way Of Keeping Calm

Another sweet and simple post for I haven't had much time to go out and take pictures.
An adventure will build up inside of me for sure though.
Lately i've been building up my resume and filling out applications for internships.
If I keep that up, and keep sitting/ typing on my computer I will go crazy!

That's sadly all I have for you now.
Until we meet again!

Thunder Beneath The Feet

Sammy

Let me fill you in.
I started riding horses when I was five years old.
I met sammy here through horseback riding when I was probably ten.
Ever since then, she has been my longest and closest friend.
When I turned fourteen, I kinda drifted from riding horses.
Man did I miss it!
Such a sweet nostalgic feeling being back on a horse.
We're still close with our horseback riding trainer, so she let us goof around like old times.
This trusty steeds name is Buster.

Something I'm thinking about picking up again.

Oh Deer

New socks from Christmas, lovely sweater from Forever 21, and boots from http://urbanog.com/

It's almost time to go back to school and i'm going to miss all the nature here.
The city can be nice, but it's no breath of fresh air.

Currently suffering from cold hands and a runny nose.... please don't let me get sick.

Don't Give Up Hope

Just one picture today.
I had found this tree and I only wanted a picture with it.
I don't know about you, but my mind can get overwhelmed.
You just have to hope for the best.

Rockin' That Hat

haha... cheesy smile

This blog has officially been around for one year!
I meant to post on the 6th but I've been preoccupied.
It's amazing the transformation of what this blog has sprung into.
I can honestly say that I have fulfilled my goal in progressing in photography, which is all I ever wanted to do. I didn't want to become famous for it, it didn't matter to me how many followers I had; photography had just always been a passion of mine that I wanted to improve. Although, this turned out to be a bigger hit than I imagined! I really want to thank you all who have endured this year with me through the Day Traveler.  I plan on continuing, and hope to see many more improvements to come!
I think now I'm going to go for more exposure.

Also my mom found me this hat,
I absolutely love it!

The Getty

The directory man made sure I took a picture of this.
This is a freaking huge couch... it may not look like it from this angle, but trust me.

This may be one of my worst smiles haha... oh well!

Same sweet old man who told me to take a picture of the couch,
told me to take a picture of this chandelier, to share with you that,
they use to put little goldfish in the little bulb that's hanging on the bottom.
Weird..

The view from the museum!

This was my first time exploring The Getty Museum, so I figured it would be a great place to take Nathaniel here while he is visiting from Sacramento.
This place is just gorgeous!
I forgot to tell you all that Nathaniel, my friend who I met through my roommate, is staying in L.A.
So I've been doing my best in showing him around.
We sure have been on the go, but I'm really happy we did this.
I really like the old man who was telling us little tidbits of certain artifacts.
He was nice.
